MANITOBA FOOD STUDY RESULTS ANNOUNCED

Results of the first three studies produced by the panel will be announced on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Theatre Room 124, Richardson Centre for Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals, 196 Innovation Drive, in Smartpark at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus.

The presentation begins at noon with a lunch, with the results announced by researchers beginning at 1:00 pm.

Provincial and Federal Governments to fund study on consumers' opinion of food

The Governments of Canada and Manitoba are committing funding to support a research project that will ask Manitobans about their opinions, preferences and experiences with food and health.

The funding announcement will be held at the Forks Market, in downtown Winnipeg, at 9:15 am on March 18, 2011.
